2. Description of Services

Playa del Rey Car Nexus Transport provides information and assistance relating to vehicle transportation services, including:

  • Open Car Transport
  • Enclosed Car Transport
  • Door-to-Door Auto Transport
  • State-to-State Auto Transport

The precise scope of our responsibilities, including whether transportation is arranged through third-party carriers, will be specified in the applicable service agreement.

3. Shipping Quotes

Quotes are based on information provided by the customer, including vehicle specifications, transportation distance, pickup and delivery locations, and preferred shipping dates.

Unless expressly stated otherwise in a written agreement, quotes are estimates and do not guarantee a final price or carrier availability.

Any material changes to the shipment may require a revised quote.

4. Booking and Payment

Customers must provide accurate information when requesting transportation services.

Booking confirmation, deposits, payment schedules, accepted payment methods, and outstanding balances will be governed by the terms disclosed and agreed upon during booking.

Customers should review all payment requirements before authorizing a transaction.

5. Pickup and Delivery

Pickup and delivery dates may be estimates rather than guaranteed appointments unless expressly confirmed otherwise in writing.

Transportation schedules may be affected by weather, traffic, road closures, mechanical problems, carrier availability, and circumstances outside reasonable control.

Door-to-door service is subject to safe and legal carrier access.

If a requested location is inaccessible, an alternative nearby location may be arranged with the customer.

6. Customer Responsibilities

Customers are responsible for providing accurate vehicle and shipment information.

Before pickup, customers should:

  • Remove personal belongings and valuables.
  • Disclose known mechanical problems.
  • Secure loose vehicle accessories.
  • Make the vehicle available at the agreed pickup location.
  • Provide keys and required transportation documentation.
  • Review and acknowledge vehicle condition records.

Additional requirements may apply under the applicable transportation agreement.

7. Vehicle Inspection

Vehicles should be inspected at pickup and delivery.

Customers should review the vehicle condition documentation and report visible discrepancies promptly.

Signing delivery documents without recording observed concerns may affect the ability to substantiate a subsequent claim, subject to applicable law and carrier terms.

8. Insurance and Liability

Applicable insurance coverage depends on the carrier, policy terms, transportation agreement, and relevant law.

Customers should request information about the assigned carrier’s insurance coverage, exclusions, and claim procedures before shipment.

Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits liability where doing so would violate applicable law.

9. Cancellations and Refunds

Cancellation eligibility, fees, deposits, and refund terms must be disclosed in the applicable booking agreement.

Customers should review those terms before confirming transportation services.

Any refunds required by applicable law will be provided in accordance with those requirements.

10. Prohibited Items

Customers must not place illegal, hazardous, or otherwise prohibited materials inside vehicles being transported.

Personal belongings and aftermarket accessories may be subject to carrier restrictions.

Customers are responsible for complying with applicable laws and carrier requirements.

11. Website Information

We aim to provide accurate and useful information on our website.

However, general descriptions of services, transportation methods, and estimated shipping times are informational and may not reflect every shipment’s circumstances.

Service availability, prices, and operational arrangements may change.

12. Intellectual Property

Website content, branding, written materials, graphics, and other original materials are protected by applicable intellectual property laws.

Users may not reproduce or commercially distribute protected website materials without authorization, except as permitted by law.

13. Third-Party Services

Certain transportation activities or website features may involve third-party service providers.

Where applicable, those providers may have separate agreements, policies, and responsibilities.

Customers should review relevant third-party terms before using those services.

14. Limitation of Liability

To the extent permitted by applicable law, responsibility for website-related claims will be determined under the applicable agreements and legal requirements.

Nothing in these Terms limits rights or remedies that cannot lawfully be waived.

15. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms and Conditions to reflect changes in our operations, legal obligations, or website practices.

Updated terms will be published with a revised effective date.

Changes will not retroactively alter existing contractual rights where prohibited by law.

16. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by applicable United States federal law and California law, subject to any mandatory legal provisions that apply to a particular transaction.
